Chris Lord-Alge And Don Was Take Home Grammys!

 

Nettwerk Producer Management congratulates Chris Lord-Alge and Don Was on their wins at the 2010 Grammy Awards!

Grammy-winning mixer Chris Lord-Alge continued his successful partnership with Green Day with his mix of their latest album 21st Century Breakdown, which took home the Grammy for Best Rock Album. This brings Chris's Grammy total to 4, including previous wins with Green Day in 2004 for Best Rock Album (American Idiot) and in 2005 for Record Of The Year (Boulevard of Broken Dreams).

Grammy-winning producer Don Was produced the album Family Time for Ziggy Marley, which took home the Grammy for Best Music Album For Children. Don previously won Grammy awards in 1989 for Album of the Year with Bonnie Raitt's classic, Nick of Time, and in 1994 for Producer of the Year.

Grammy Award winning Mixer Chris Lord-Alge is continuing his successful partnership with Waves LTD--the leading innovator of audio signal processing tools--with the introduction of the CLA Classic Compressors, four impeccable models of compressors considered as classic by audio engineers the world over.   Chris will introduce and give a live demonstration of the CLA Classic Compressors at a private event at his studio, Mix LA, in Los Angeles on July 22nd. 

Chris has previously partnered with Waves LTD with his line of signature presets for the SSL 4000 Collection, a bundle of plug-ins that precisely recreate the sonics of the legendary Solid State Logic 4000 series recording console.
