"Effortlessly stylish and blessed with a pure and magnificent pop voice, [Ash Koley] is suddenly finding herself on the verge of stardom...Koley and songwriter-producer Phil Deschambault have been building up a catalogue of deliciously retro pop tunes: imagine ABBA jamming with Debbie Harry, and that's the vibe Koley's rocking."

Nettwerk Music Group is excited to add Canadian singer/songwriter Ash Koley to its management roster. Ash Koley, along with award-winning songwriter/producer and musical partner Phil Deschambault, have become known throughout Canada for their sophisticated brand of quirky pop music--an eccentric hybrid of Phil's no-rules approach to pop production and Ash's velvety voice and emotional delivery.

“Nettwerk stands by its mantra of releasing music that we love, and Ash Koley is no exception to this rule,” says Nettwerk CEO Terry McBride. “Her work with Phil is absolutely brilliant, and I am thrilled to have her join our management roster and look forward to the journey ahead.”

A debut full-length is due in 2010, but in the meantime Ash Koley prepares to release a series of digital EPs comprised of produced demos; The White EP (Nettwerk) will be released through iTunes and other digital service providers on November 10, with The Blue EP, The Red EP and The Black EP to follow in the coming months. Ash and Phil have also spent time on home-made music videos for most of their songs using what is referred to as “time-lapse photography” – the film frames are captured at a much slower rate, or in this case half-time and played back at normal speed to create the illusion of time moving faster. They also filmed live “Bathroom Sessions” from bathrooms and various locations. See for yourself HERE.

DJ Dan Joins Nettwerk To Release Artist Debut 'Future Retro'; First Single EP Out Nov 3 On Beatport

DJ Dan has been on the cutting edge of forward thinking dance tracks for nearly two decades. As he approaches his 20th year in the music industry, he joins Nettwerk to release his debut artist album Future Retro, a collection comprised of two vantage points: one looking back and paying homage to where electronic music has come from, and one looking to the future of where electronic music is going. It’s a culmination of all things great on the dance floor, fusing classic dance tracks with Dan's unique blend of funky driving electro…a musical journey that spans the past, present, and looks to the future, from Mr. Fingers to Phuture to Frankie Knuckles.

Future Retro will be out in 2010, but in the meantime, Dan will release a series of EPs entitled DJ Dan Presents Future Retro: Evolution. Each EP will contain one “future” single and one “retro” single, along with remixes. The first of these, Evolution 1, is available exclusively through Beatport on November 3 and on all other digital service providers on November 17. The “future” single is a brand new original track from Dan called “Drop Hits,” and the “retro” single is a cover of Mr. Fingers' classic dance track “Can You Feel It?”. The EP will also include remixes from Santiago & Bushido and Zodiac Cartel.
