Angus & Julia Stone To Support DeVotchKa; Boston Date Added To Headline Shows

Angus & Julia Stone have just been announced as support on three DeVotchKa dates, including two shows in Chicago at Lincoln Hall (Oct 15 and 16) and a special CMJ show at Sideshows at Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park in New York City (Oct 23). The Aussie brother and sister have also added a Boston date to their headline tour on October 26 at Paradise. (Full list of dates below)

fun. Reveal Brand New Video For "Walking The Dog"; More Dates Announced

fun. has just revealed a brand new video for the buoyant track “Walking The Dog” from their critically-acclaimed debut Aim & Ignite. The psychedelically retro video was directed by the collective known as Skinny, who have received critical praise from the likes of Rolling Stone, Time Magazine and Pitchfork for their work with such artists as Ke$ha, Marina & The Diamonds and Devendra Banhart. 

fun. is currently preparing for their major fall headline tour, which kicks off September 29 in South Burlington, VT and includes a special free show in Brooklyn on September 30 at the Bell House. fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff will have double duty on the road as frontman for Steel Train, who will be opening for fun. along with Jarrod Gorbel, the Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter behind indie act The Honorary Title. In mid-November, fun. will join Paramore and B.o.B for a handful of UK dates before heading back to the States for their remaining headline dates, which re-launch with a special show Thanksgiving weekend in New York City at Webster Hall (Nov 27) with Steel Train and The Postelles as support. Fun. will be joining B.O.B. as support for Paramore's UK tour this fall. Having recently toured with Paramore in the US, fun. will be opening for the band on all their arena dates.  As previously reported, fun. is currently preparing for their US headlining tour.

fun. Adds Dates To Upcoming Headlining Tour; Steel Train Added As Support

As previously reported, fun. will kick things off in September with a 31-city headlining tour.  The tour now includes stops in Spokane, San Diego, and Webster Hall in New York City .  As an added bonus for attendees, the band has brought on opening acts that lie very close to their heart. The tour will feature New Jersey-born band, Steel Train – an indie rock group fronted by fun. guitarist, Jack Antonoff. To round out the bill, the band has also invited Jarrod Gorbel, the Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter behind indie act The Honorary Title.

Indie-folk duo Angus & Julia Stone are set to return to North America this fall for headline tour dates that kick off with an appearance on KCRW’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic” on October 4 and a show at Los Angeles’s El Rey on October 5. They’ll also pass through Austin for their first Austin City Limits appearance on October 8, sharing the day with artists like Beach House, The Black Keys, Vampire Weekend and Spoon. The Weepies Announce First Tour In 4 Years!

Following a rapturous response at Lilith Fair, The Weepies have confirmed an extensive full-band U.S. tour - their first in over four years - supporting the forthcoming album Be My Thrill out August 31. (Read More for tour dates.)

Yesterday, New York Post's PopWrap premiered the new Lauren Briere animated video for the album's title track and called the group "a musical cacophony of bright and vivid proportions." Check out the video HERE.

Old Crow Medicine Show To Open For Mumford & Sons On European Dates

Old Crow Medicine Show have announced five European dates opening for UK folk rock band Mumford & Sons.  Members of OCMS appeared on stage with Mumford & Sons at this year's Bonnaroo to help the band close their set with a cover of the OCMS hit single "Wagon Wheel;" check it out above. OCMS have also announced a London date on Friday, September 17 at the Troxy Theatre with Dave Rawlings Machine.

The band has been on the road for most of 2010, touring with artists like Jack’s Mannequin, Motion City Soundtrack and most recently Paramore. They also appeared at Bamboozle in May, where RollingStone.com chose them as one of “Five Breakout Bands To Watch” and Spin.com named them one of their “25 Must-Hear Artists At Bamboozle.”

Skinny Puppy Brings Live Show Back To Europe After 4 Years!

Electro-industrial rock icons Skinny Puppy bring their infamous live show back to Europe for the first time in four years this summer. The tour will kick off on July 15 in Paris and wrap August 22 in Switzerland. (See full list of dates below).

Additionally, as part of its 25th Anniversary celebration, Nettwerk Music Group has gone into its vault and pulled key out-of-print records from its 25 year history, making them available for purchase as a physical CD once again through Amazon's disc-on-demand service. OCMS Announce Summer Tour Plans; Band Featured on John Prine Tribute Album

Old Crow Medicine Show (OCMS) have announced a new run of summer tour dates starting July 8 in Cincinnati, OH. The band also recently contributed a cover of “Angel From Montgomery” to the upcoming John Prine tribute album, alongside artists like My Morning Jacket, The Avett Brothers and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon. Their version of “Angel From Montgomery” will be on the Broken Hearts & Dirty Windows: Songs of John Prine, out June 22 (Oh Boy Records).

OCMS has kept busy on the road this spring, bringing their live show to New Zealand and Australia before heading back to the States for their debut appearance at Coachella. Said the Wall Street Journal of their performance: “The Old Crow Medicine Show, fortified by Benmont Tench of Tom Petty's band, played bluegrass and folk that prodded the audience into some of the sloppiest and most joyful country dancing the Nashville-based band is likely to have witnessed.” The band also stopped in New Orleans for Jazz Fest in May, and just last Friday made yet another appearance on the Grand Ole Opry at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, sharing the night with John Michael Montgomery, Lee Greenwood, Mel Tillis and more.
