Vancouver’s latest indie rock sensation, Young Liars, partnered with Consequence Of Sound and Exclaim! to share their first official music video for lead single, “Colours” from their well-received EP, Homesick Future. To listen to the EP in its entirety, visit:
Directed by the Amazing Factory Productions team (Said The Whale, Yukon Blond, Hey Ocean), the video is filmed at the pedestrian bridge, “Pioneer Cycling and Pedestrian Overpass” in Surrey, BC. Illuminated at night, the bridge’s lights are programmed according to the season and in some cases, passing traffic.
“Colours” is a proper introduction to the band, as they prepare to release their full-length debut in 2012.
“’Colours’ has always represented a breakthrough for us in discovering our sound,” says lead vocalist/guitarist Jordan Raine. “While writing the new album, the song has served as a launching point, and sometimes measuring stick, for our new tracks.”
