Nettwerk CEO Terry McBride Speaks At TEDxVancouver

Nettwerk Music Group CEO and Lilith Fair co-founder Terry McBride spoke at TEDxVancouver, held at the Electronic Arts campus in Burnaby at the end of 2009.  A reviewer of the conference stated, "Terry McBride was an excellent choice to speak first and set the conceptual framework for the whole day...One of the things that Terry does better than anyone else – and the reason why it was a good idea to give him the floor at the beginning of the day – is that he speaks clearly to the fundamental concepts and ideas behind the commercial aspects of art and music that are often butchered for public consumption by the language of accountants and corporate executives."

TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At the TEDxVancouver event, TEDTalks video and live speakers came together to spark deep discussions and connections in a small group.
