As fun. gears up for their much anticipated debut album release on August 25, Myspace showed their support by hosting an exclusive Aim And Ignite listening party this week. The fan response was unprecedented. In only two days, the band reached over 120,000 plays and gained over 1,000 new friends!
Praise from the critics has been rolling in as well. Absolute Punk called Aim and Ignite "the most essential pop album of 2009" and Alternative Press gave the album a 4-star review, calling it "a blend of jangly, horn-infused, '70s-style pop and some kind of wild carny sideshow that has the power to bring together hipsters and scene kids."
Fans in Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Portland and Long Beach will have the opportunity to meet fun. when they makes special in-store appearances in these cities at the end of this month (more info/locations below).
